Bianca Savcenco

Born in 1975. German artist.

I am, and have always been, very passionate about art. But I didn‘t use the direct way to become a professional artist.

I have studied Political Science in Germany, I have lived in several African countries, I have written novels. But only some years ago I realized that I will never be satisfied by only collecting and consuming art. There is a deep need inside me to express myself through art.

An art professor in Berlin taught me some techniques. And I continued learning by myself. But I have actually trained my eyes for the past decades, and when I started painting it was just like opening a locked door to my creativity. Images that have always been inside me poured out.

This is the way I am still working. Training the eye, experimenting with techniques – especially techniques to release emotions and creativity. To me, abstract painting is the most interesting and challenging way of making art because you always have to put in your soul. In the end, a painting is only good when you did put in all of yourself.  That is what makes my artpieces unique.
